Learning Intention: Evaluate what causes seasons and why different parts of the Earth experience them at different times to different extremes.
Success Criteria
6. I can explain what causes seasons.
A = identifies tilt and orbit causing seasons
M = Explains at least one season in detail
7. I can relate how latitude affects the variations in how extreme difference seasons are.
A = identifies who has little temperature variation
M = explains why the equation has less temperature variation
E = Full discussion
8. I can discuss why hemispheres have opposite seasons.
A = identifies which seasons in which hemispheres
M = Explains opposite season with reference to orbit or radiation
E = Full discussion
