Mentor Lessons by the Week
Term 4, Week 5 & 6
November 22nd and 29th, 2024
For the last two extended mentor lesson of the year, students have the End of Year Lesson, which mentor teachers can pick and choose what activities to do with their classes.
Term 4, Week 4
November 8th, 2024
This week, the Year 9s will be doing the 1st Year Reflection Lesson.
No mentor lessons for the Year 10s (camp) or seniors (study leave).
Term 4, Week 3
November 1st, 2024
This week, the Year 9s and 10s will be doing the Mental Health Awareness Lesson.
No mentor lesson for the seniors since they are study leave.
Term 4, Week 2
October 18th, 2024
This week, the Years 9s and 10s will be doing the Exploring the Pacific Islands Lesson.
The Year 12s and 13s will have a 'Condiment Choice.'
The Year 11s can choose between the Exploring the Pacific Islands Lesson or 'Conidment Choice.'
Term 4, Week 1
October 18th, 2024
This week, the Years 9s and 10s will be doing the Diwali Lesson.
The Year 12s and 13s will have a 'Condiment Choice.'
The Year 11s can choose between the Diwali Lesson or 'Conidment Choice.'
Term 3, Week 8
September 13th, 2024
This week, the Year 9s and 10s will be doing the How We Treat Others.
The seniors have senior assessment week, so they have no menter lesson this week.

September 6th, 2024
No mentor lesson this week to allow whānau groups to practice the waiata/haka for next week's competition.
Term 3, Week 6
August 30th, 2024
A lot of events are going on these next few weeks, so this week the Year 9s-11s will be working on the Making a Difference Lesson to learn about Women's Suffrage, Conservation, and/or Daffodil Day.
The Year 12s and 13s can either come down to the library to hear from their former classmates about university or have a 'Condiment Choice' Lesson.

This week the Years 9s-11s will be working on the Tongan Language Week Lesson and the Year 12s & 13s will have a 'Condiment Choice' Lesson.

This week's mentor lesson, go back to the Graduate Profile Tracking Sheet and complete the 'Capabilities Evidence' and 'Ownership of Learning' tabs in preparation for the Mentor Meetings at the end of the term.

This week, the years 9-11 and any Year 12s and Year 13s that haven't met the literacy (writing) or numeracy requirements will be doing lessons to prepare them for the CAA.
For the Year 12s and 13s that do have their literacy and numeracy requires, use this time to plan your pathway to your career.
